SPAYING AND NEUTERING

Grand County Pet Pals is able to provide financial assistance for spaying or neutering pets in Grand County, Colorado. We are able to do this through the generous donations of people in our community, through fund raising activities and grants. We do not receive state or federal funding. Due to limited resources, we strive to provide assistance to those in greatest need.  For more information on why spaying and neutering are so important, please click here.

If you need financial assistance in spaying or neutering your animal, print out this form and submit to the Grand County Animal Shelter in person. Your application will be reviewed within 48 hours of receiving. If approved, your voucher can be picked up at the Grand County Animal Shelter on Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week except holidays. Vouchers are your responsibility to then submit to your Grand County, Colorado veterinarian for payment. With your help, we can reach our goal of no more homeless pets.

MICROCHIPPING

Microchipping is a valuable way to keep pets out of shelters.  If an animal is lost or stolen, it has a much greater chance of being returned if it has a chip.  Pet Pals, with the help of local veterinarians, periodically holds low-cost microchipping clinics.
